Wire Cloth & Mesh
Wire cloth is a very versatile product that has applications in a large number industries including aerospace, construction, architecture, oil & gas drilling, screen printing, refining, food processing and filter manufacturing. It is available as either a woven wire mesh where perpendicular drawn metal wires are interwoven together, or a welded wire mesh where these same wires are welded together at the intersections. Wire cloth can be made with a variety of alloys, but the most commonly used is stainless steel wire cloth. Wire cloth is generally manufactured in rolls, and can then be slit, precision cut, stamped, punched and sheared to various sizes.
Lawrence maintains a large inventory of wire cloth items in stock available for quick shipment. We carry a wide variety of alloys, including 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, plain steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper, bronze, brass, and Monel®, among others. We offer standard rolls of 36", 48", and 60" wide by 100 linear feet. Various size pieces may be cut to specifications.

When ordering wire mesh, whenever possible please specify the mesh count, the wire diameters, alloy, and roll size or quantity required.
Woven Wire Mesh
A variety of different weaves, including plain weave, twilled weave, and Dutch weave wire meshes are available in a wide range of alloys, with openings ranging from 1" to 635 mesh micronic filter cloth.
Welded Wire Mesh
With openings ranging from 1/4" to 6", these meshes are available as 304SS welded mesh, 316SS welded mesh, galvanized hardware cloth, and other variations of welded wires.
Dutch Woven Wire Cloth
These high efficiency micronic filter cloths are available in 304 and 316 stainless steel, in a variety of weaves including plain Dutch weave, twilled Dutch weave, and reverse Dutch weave.
Wire Screen
A variety of specific use wire clothes are available, including bolting cloth, stencil cloth, and insect screen.
